About Us
The Schools Division of Bais City was established on June 21, 2003, as an interim schools division. Being a newly created division, its operations were still under the umbrella of Negros Oriental Division. The Interim Chief was the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Mario C. Andong, the first Schools Division Superintendent and a native of Calasga-an and Tamisu, Bais City. Mr. Andong, together with the designated education program supervisors and the rest of the interim division personnel, worked hard for the interim schools division. They focused on establishment of new high schools in the hinterlands.
On July 24, 2003, the Interim City Schools Division of Bais was established and was separated from the mother division of Negros Oriental. However, it is still a part of the SEDIP Implementation projects of the Negros Oriental Division.
The Schools Division of Bais City is located at Laurel St., Barangay 1, Bais City, Negros Oriental.
For the elementary level, the division has two districts, Bais City North and South composed of 41 elementary schools. The secondary level of the division is composed of 19 public high schools.
